Purple Tang Still In Trouble

I have had a tang in a 90 gallon tank for about 3 weeks now after a bout with ich and a few other problems. He was in a quarantine tank alone for about 3 months. In there, at one point he was spitting up his food after eating and I added Jungle anti-parasite food which seemed to stop him from spitting up food and fatten his stomach up a bit.
He graduated to the main tank but now has another issue. He will eat great for about a minute or so anything I feed him but after a minute of eating will become listless, stop eating and start spazzing out. He has little mini convulsions, jerks, twitches, darts for awhile and then seems to be fine and starts eating again. He has been doing the same thing for about 10 days now.
I added garlic for the first time 3 days before this happened and thought it might be a coincidence but he has pretty much continued this for a week after I stopped adding the garlic. I thought maybe the garlic affected the acids that tangs have for digesting food since he had stomach problems awhile back but this doesn't appear to be the case.
I stopped adding the anti-parasite food about 2 weeks ago and was wondering if I should start back up with that or can it be overdosed. His stomach has always been a little bumpy and not fully round and he has never really filled out throughout his body other than the stomach area when he eats. Other than that he eats great, has great color but definitely has digestive problems, and I'm just not sure how to treat.

If I remember correctly, the anti-parasite food definitely seemed to be helping him. Although, I don't know if the garlic could have any adverse effects with it, since I have never used the anti-parasite food.
What exactly is in the anti-parasite food, or what exactly is it called so I can look it up?

That convulsive type behavior is typically an indication of parasites. What parasite food have you been giving the fish?

Its called Jungle anti-parasite medicated food with 1% Metronidazole and 1% Praziquantel. This seemed to help him stop spitting up his food and I used it for 4 weeks until 10 days ago. I'm thinking this food is not working with whatever he has now because he was on it for 4 weeks, just not sure if its worth continuing with this route.
I know this is a tough one to figure out and I haven't found any info on a fish acting like this.

Those blotches are not starting to come back, are they?
I sent an email to the Jungle rep. for you and to see what they say about continued use of their anti-parasite food, as well as using it with garlic. They are usually pretty quick in getting back to me, so I will let you know what they say when they respond.

No Lion, the blotches are barely evident, and almost gone completely. This is just a whole new developement, I'm sure secondary from everything he's been through. He appears so healthy otherwise just very bothered when eating. Thanks again Lion

Deepsixer, how long did you give this medication until you noticed him reacting this way and what exactly does he do? The tang only reacts like this after he's eaten awhile, and usually when he ingests a good amount of food. He was only doing it with the meaty foods at first, now even with the Seaweed Selects.
I know this convulsive behavior is usually a sign of parasites like Beth mentioned but he only does it after eating at least to this point. The other 3 fish I have are perfectly fine.

Thanks Lion, I'll continue to use it a little longer, but since he was on it already for 4 weeks just prior to last week for the issue of spitting up his food(which worked), this seems to maybe to be an unrelated issue needing a stronger type of medication, or like Deepsixer mentioned, some kind of reaction to this medicine like his damsel had.
