Purple Tang to help with Alge?

I have been having an alge problem in my tank. I know there are several fish out there that could help me with that. Is the purple tang one of them? I would love to get one. Thanks for your help.:notsure:

You can place a very small puple in your tank for a brief period but it will need more swimming space in the near future.
A Kole tang would be comfortable in your tank for a longer period. THey constantly graze on algae. JMO

Go for the Kole, their like mowers, and cheap

my purple really is not interesed in the algae, my kole (yellow eye) does seem to go after it a little more...
