Purple Tangs......Rare,

One of the LFS here has 9 purple tangs all about 2 1/2" and for $70 each. They all look great.
I'm looking at a very healthy one that is roughly 5-6" for $80 (guy is breaking down his tank).

I think the varation is by store and how much their supplier charges them. I've seen a $50 dollar 4" purple at one store, and literally the next LFS about 5mi away had a small 2" purple for $120.
Let's not bash SWF for the purple tangs they put up. It's rare enough now that SWF lists fish in that section

..... They fully disclose their condition, and HLLE is fully recoverable with a bit of TLC.

Yeah ,i gotta agree with you.Then you still pay the fuel charge too,right?So taking that into consideration,even if i saw those fish at my LFS for half off i still would'nt bite..
