putting higher end filters on a smaller tank

hey guys, i have all my leftover equipment from my 55 gal tank and i was wondering if i could put it on my 20 gallon tank, my equipment is as follows: Eshopps WD-125CS Wet Dry Filter - 100 to 125 gal, phosban reactor with reef carbon and a coralife needlewheel skimmer

Only thing I can find that may not work is your skimmer - at least for a little while until some DOC's build up in your system.

ok what about my return pump, its a mag drive 700, im worried it might be too much flow

Put a gate or ball valve on the output side of the pump and you can easily regulate the flow.
