PVC eel home.

Would it be ok to cover the PVC with sand then just have two 45 degree connectors on each side? Has anyone done this? In this way most of the PVC is berried.

i wouls say no i tried and it got covered in sand by the eel and the triggers , put it on top and cover with coral and rocks looks awesome
