should i use pvc glue or aqautic glue to join the pvc together?

PVC Glue is fine just let it completely dry.

use pvc glue. after it cures for 24 hours soak in fresh water , it will take the chemical smell & glue out.

Use regular PVC glue and there is no need to soak for 24hrs.... Let it dry and when your performing your water leak check you'll flush any residual shaving and such from the lines.
