Goodmorning everyone, Im going to install some different pluming in my 265 reef.Im going to make a small frag tank that dumps back into my filter. My question is how long after I glue my pvc pipe together do I have to keep my system down? Thanks for the help.

should be able to start right up, stuff dries really fast

No harmful side effects from the vapors.

I've never had a problem, I always put the glue on the pipe and not the fitting, that helps push the access to the outside instead of the inside of the pipe

Probably fine to do right away, but most of these pvc glues suggest that water be run thru them after a 2 hour 'dry/cure'. That is the time I wait.
