Q-Tip Sponge?

I'm new to the salt water aquarium world. I have just started setting up a 20 gallon tank and so far all I really have is live rock. Today I noticed this little fuzzy guy hanging out under some rock that wasn't there yesterday. Can someone ID it? My best guess is what I have heard called "Q-Tip Sponge" Just trying to find out for sure what it is and if its a bad thing. Thanks in advance guys!

I have q tips all over my tank are they bad???

No, they're just harmless filter feeders. My sumps are full of them but I don't have any im my main tank areas. Actually seems to grow (at least in my tanks) where there isn't any intense lighting.
