QT-ing Snails

Are snails to be left in QT for 4 weeks? What do you feed those litle guys? I have homemade "good stuff" (squid, shrimp,scallops) do they eat that?

Ive nvr Qtd any of mine... But It wouldnt hurt I guess....
What size system u got and how many snails?

25 nassarius, 25 cerith, 2 mex turbos, Got a 90 fowlr and a 24 nano

don't know if they can carry the ich larve , but I'm not finding out the hard way. I just had my tank fishless for 6 weeks and sent my fishies through hypo, don't want to do that again.

i know that my snails love to eat the algee sheets that i normally put on my algee clip. they go crazy for it. i can normally tell when the are hungry cuz like 10-15 of them will all be right by the clip waiting for food. kinda fun to watch them eat it to.

btw i have always QT-ed my snails for atleast a week. but the only reason i do that is because they get shipped and i dont want them to die in my DT and then not be able to get them out.
