QT question...

Hello all...
I want to use one of the "kits" (probably 10 or 20g) for my QT. If I am not dealing with corals will the single strip light be OK? I plan on using a small amount of LR to cycle the tank and probably the HOB filter that comes with the kit for my filtration. Is this sufficient?

if your planning on qt fiah then yes the strip light will be just fine. fish really dont have lighting requirements.

A follow up question...
Will a 10g suffice as a QT for juvenile fish that get bigger? (ie... can I qt a new juvenile yellow tang safely in a 10g for a few weeks before adding it to my display tank?)
