What size tank do you use for QT (any pictures?) what do you keep in it? How many gallons vs rock vs exc. Do you house it somewhere else in your home? (I wouldnt mind keeping a small tank for QT in my room maybe since our larger tank is in the living room) How long do you QT for?
Is there a main sticky thread I can read about QT in general?? What needs to be QT vs not.

you don't want to put live rock in a quarantine tank. i suggest some pieces of pvc pipe, just for the fish to hide in and feel safe.
if you have to medicate the tank, you'll destroy the rock.
what size display do you have and what size fish will youi be purchasing? i always buy my fish as small as possible, so i'd probably go with a standard 20, with a hob, bio wheel filter on it.
you can keep your qt anywhere you want it.
i'd qt fish for about a month.
i don't qt corals. i just dip them in lugols and add them to the tank.

I use a 10g, but I only have a 30g I'm stocking, so that's fine. You want something 1/4 - 1/3 the size of your tank.
I have no LR in mine. Some people use PVC pipe, I use some old ornamentation that I no longer have in my DT.
My QT is actually on the stand under my DT. Makes it easier to keep track of, and keeps the 'fish areas' of my house to a minimum.

my tank stand has all enclosed shelf areas.. half is open shelf and half is enclosed with a door so nothing but maybe a 1 gallon would fit pooey.. if nothing else i can always set it up in my room, although i wouldve liked to have a seahorse tank in my room.. blah

ok, here is my suggestion.
buy a 29 gal kit, use it to qt the fish you will be keeping in your 37 gal. once you have it fully stocked-you prob wont have more the 4 or 5 small fish- clean the 29 gal and set it up as a seahorse tank.
