QT tank

Does a qt tank have to be plain and bare? can I have a decoration in the tank? my qt tank will be visible because I don't have any where I can set one up that will be "hidden" so I would like to be able to make it look decent but obviously not as nice as my display tank.

You can if you want I suppose but you generally want it bare so you can see the fish easily

You could put some decor or fake plants in it. This will provide hiding spots for the fish. You could also put terracota planters as a hide out for fish.

can I put regular aquarium gravel in it? or does it have to be a clear bottom?
