QT - Yellow Watchman - Question about substrate?

Yes we are getting a yellow watchman tomorrow..
And i'm going to put it in my QT - it has just some little bits of rock to hide and some pcv pipe ..
there is no sand or antying in the tank.. will the fish be ok to Quaritine for 3-5 day.. or should i do a bit longer??

If you do a search on these boards about QT, it is suggested to do about 2 weeks. That's what I always do and it's worked for me very well.

i believe QT is supposed to be 4-6 weeks, cause the life cycle of ich is 28 days

Ok now back to one of my questions..
DO I NEED to use any substrate in the QT as i read that the yellow watchman like to go in the sand to hide? I just have a glass bottom...

I would put some sand in a container and put that on the bottom of the tank. That way when you are done you can remove it and still have a bare bottom. Try to make your yellow watchmen fell as much like home as possible.
