I would not suggest it. But if that is your only option be prepared to do some massive water changes to keep your nitrogen cycle components down.

Aren't you in the middle of treating your tank right now????? My goodness, please do not buy anything else at this time. A ten gallon? Either you are not being honest on this thread, or the thread that you have going in disease and treatment. OR you decided to buy another blue hippo, which I doubt. Shame. I have 7 tanks..what am I not being honest about ? I have an issue with my 120 I used my 10 gal to qt all animals...Ibought a puffer and a blue hippo for my 80 gal FOWLR tank...what exactly am I lying about ?

I'll use a divider in the 10 Gal. to be safe..or take water out of my 80 gal and setup another 10 gal QT
all I need is a 100w heater some pvc and quality water ?
