quarantine (sp?) question

so an employee of mine insisted I take his 10 gallon tank with a maroon and percula clown to add to my 125 reef before he leaves for florida to relocate. I just took the whold thing and at once and have it in my basement for quarentine beofr adding to the tank, the problem is there is a chocolate star and 2 hermits, any suggestiions hear????
My tank is a 125 full blown reef growing out of control, with a 55 sump, do I put the star in the sump I heard the chocolates are bad.
PLease help?????

i wouldnt put it in the sump unless abolutely necessary. i dont know much about them, but they might be able to eat the copepods. keep it in the 10 until you can sell it to a lfs. definitly dont put it in your dt. they eat corals, sponges, and anemones. do you have a qt? if so, then put it in there for now.
