Quarantine tank lighting

I plan on setting up a 75 gallon reef under moderate light, could I use a blue-lunar light LED 420 moon lights in my 20 gallon quarintine tank?

Sure if you wanted to, no harm there. Its just a QT tank, you could hang anything over it for light.

That's actually a pretty goodm idea, often times when a fish is stressed out they can be bothered by light.

would it be good for corals if I had to quarintine a sick specimen?

quarantine a sick coral? usually you shouldnt run into that problem... plus i wouldnt want to move the sick coral... it would only stress it out more. My reef tank i only qt the livestock going in, dont qt inverts

You don't need to QT new corals before introducing them into the tank.
