are you saying you're bringing the fish from hypo back to normal salinity?

Raise the SG VERY slowly. It should take a week or more to bring it back up. Use water from your display for changes. Do two small changes per day. Don't bring it up more than .002 each day. Fish can take a quicker drop in SG, but you are making the water more dense. You must take it slow.
