The only reason I could think of to QT an invert would be to perhaps make sure he is "safe" for the tank. Such as put a crab in with some snails and see if he goes for them before he feasts in your display tank. Otherwise I can't think of a single reason to QT one.
I never QT any inverts, but I don't acclimate them either. I just toss them right in, just hermits and snails. Other inverts I DO acclimate. :happyfish
