Queen and a Ray

picked him up from a LFS. they had him there for less than a day, then I picked it up, because I could never find it anywhere else.

I would not mix a ray with much. They have a delicate body and often get nipped at by more agressive fish. I am sorry to say that any experience under a year is not a good indicator for what may happen. Being that you just got a puffer you should not get a ray for the same tank. Puffers are known for nipping.

hes a juvi ray, Im already slowly piecing together everything I need for a 400 gallon pond (cow troughs are awesome
). So itll be going in there once it outgrows the 125 currently in. The fact that it is smaller than my hand gives me a lil breathing room for when i need to get that pond done. I would not have gotten him unless I had a pond anyway, and since my shark will outgrow that 125 eventually too...why not lol
sepu is right, most puffers are renouned for nipping anything they can fit in their mouth. If you said it attacked the fish in that ladies tank, a ray would be easy pickings for that puffer.
