what is the temperature at? I have had tanks at 84 degrees and no issues.

Temperature of 86 is marginal. In their natural enviroment, that is normal temp. If there was a rapid change in temp, that's a different story.
Pics would really help us to help you. I wish Angelman was still around to help with this one.

i had a queen angel for 4 years. i never saw better results with her than when i put the salinity around 1.025 and just kept a good nutritional diet. also make sure you have the required amount of hiding places and space for the fish. i found that if you do this any spots or diseases their immune system will take care of it. make sure it gets lots of greens and sponge. i fed mine a mixture of mysis, ocean nutritions formula 2 flake, and ocean nutritions frozen marine angel formula that has sponge. my queen was always the healthiest fish in the tank. unfortunately i lost her cause my heater went bad and over heated the tank. by the way 86 is too high a temp. you want it around 76-80 for best results. good luck.
