I wouldn't recomend it. Most if not all large angels aren't reef safe! Many people have success with the dwarf angels. I know it sucks. I had an adult show french angel for the longest time until I decided to start my reef. That and Hurricane Isabel came thru and wiped my tank out.

You have a great tank going now, there is no sense in risking all that for a new fish. I love angels, but having a reef tank is also holding me back from getting one. Even the dwarf angels are hit or miss with coral nipping.

the queen will leave your anemones and mushrooms alone i'm positive about that. the zoo's it will definitely eat. and the corals it will pick at but to the degree of killing it i doubt. they will eat any sponge you have in your tank as that is their main diet in the wild. this is the only draw back i have because the queen i have will pick on almost anything except the mushrooms and the anemones i had in the tank. i got rid of the mushrooms and anemones though. not because of the angel, just because the anemones were pissing me off because of the spots they would pick to stay. if you do get a queen you will love it though.

Many advised me against getting scribbled angel because it was not reef safe. mY SCRIBBLES HAVE NEVER TOUCHED ANYTHING. Don't know about Qween but scribbles are fine so I suppose you have a good chance of Queen being ok. Good luck.

I know your looking to get a larger angel but I have a dwarf cherub angel and she picks at my xenia all the time. Just that though. My sister has the same fish and it doesn't bother anything. She hasen't had it long. Mine behaved for awhile and then just started getting bad. I guess what I am saying is that fish have their own personalities. Some will pick and some won't.
By the way......I love your Anthias!
