i think that you could do it. I have a queen, emperor, and a blurface in my 180 and love them to death. U need to raise the PH to at least 8.3. Angels do not like water that is not pristeen.
I have had a french too, but out of the angels she was the least personable.

what angel was easier for you to keep healthy and such. i hear queens are the hardest angel to keep, was that the case for you or was it the same with all of your angels?

That is a tough question. All the angels that I have had have been easy IMO. The emperor, blueface, and french all were healthy and ate like pigs. They all played together quite well.
The queen has been my nemisis. The one that I have currently is my 3rd. The previous two died in QT. The first died when I was out on a business trip in New Orleans and my heater malfunctioned and cooked $400 worth of new fish. The second died due to a crazy bacterial disease 3 weeks into QT.
I was snake bitten with this fish and the one that I have now is doing awesome. She is the boss of the QT tank and is slapping around my smaller Blueline trigger
I have not introduced her to the DT yet, but am thinking she will do just fine.
So with this, I think that the Queen has definitly been the toughest. But under the same circumstances, they are all the same. If you dont have great water and maintain the tank daily, your angels will definitly pay.

thank you for your input and knowledge on your angels. we love the queen and French ( i think i love the French so much b.c i went to the Caribbean this year and was swimming around with them all the time, such graceful swimmers and so intrigued with me) if we do get an angel i know how much work they require. we ( my brother and i ) are always looking at the tank everyday making sure everything is running right.
