nietzsche most intellectualls don't consider wikipedia a credible source. I agree that this thread has derailed. I believe I read somewhere though don't understand how it can be true, that "ich" is an aquarium born illness and is not present in the ocean. Don't quote me on that but can anyone offer any insight on that?

So Hey I am not sure if this is a possibility or if the conchs are alive, dead, returned or what but...Why not call your local Florida wildlife control center and ask them. Just say, "hey I took these I didn't realise they were protected and I want to do the right thing here and return them but I don't know if its safe." If they have the ability maybe they can take them and moniter them and return if they feel it safe. If not they can destroy them, it sucks but oh well whats done is done. This has taken a bad turn for a thread from the original topic.

I understand this is the right thing to do but it could also lead to trouble though I don't fully know the laws.
