Queen or Passer Angel???

The passer is a much more aggresive fish. Thus, this decision all depends on what kind of tank you are going to for. If you have other aggressive fish, you want the passer. With more community fish, you want the queen. However, passer angels get 14 inches and queens get 18. A 200 to 300 gallon is the minimum for these fish.

I want to put them with a clown trigger, naso tang, spiny box puffer, and miniatus grouper.
I am sick of the pansy fish that die of ick

Any fish can get ich and die. This is why a quarantine tank is neccessary.
These fish will be fine together, just not in a 150, in my opinion. All of these fish grow a little too large.

I have kept both before. The passer is a highly aggressive, but beautiful, species. The queen is more passive, but still pretty dominant and territorial.

passer angels are very easy to care for.....
Holacanthus passer is one of, if not *the* hardiest of all angels.

I love the juvi Passer, but I like the queen when it gets to be an adult. I am setting up a 150. I know a 55 would be cruel.

I own a passer angle and he rules the tank. This coming April will be our 2 year anniversary together and he is fat healthy and a hell raiser. No passive fish belong with a passer as they will harrass and it never stops. I regret getting this fish sometimes, as he really limits my options. Purchased a larger tank (155 gallon) for this guy and he could still be in a larger one. Swims every square inch! :happyfish
If you are looking for an aggressive, healthy fish and your tank is big enough I say go for it, just realize that you are limited on future options for tank mates. :scared:
Live in or near to Houston, have a big tank? I would consider giving to you............
