is 144 watts of power compact lighting enough for a 20 gallon tank that is about 15-20 inches in height? the lighting is half daylight and half actinic. i am thinking about keeping both low light and high light corals and maybe a corcea. but i am staying away from hard corals that need ultra high lighting. so is 144wattts of power compact lighting enough for what i want to keep??

I've kept mushrooms and yellow polyps under 45w NO lighting in a 20g high tank. I'm sure you would be okay with most softies. Just stay away from the ones that put out tentacles at night. They could reach the entire tank. My colt has feelers at night that reach at least 12" from the arms.

wow. that is crazy. hehe..i am interested in keeping a maxima or a corcea clam in this kind of setting, so i was wondering if this is enough? mushroom and polyps are pretty low lightihng requirment corals, but what if i put a flower pot or some other high light corals, will my set up be strong enough?
