Ok, i keep hearing people on this site talk about how bad it is to have a tang in a 55 gal tank. Why is that??
We have a red sea purple tang in our 55 gal, and he's doing wonderful. (We rescued him from ***** for $15, so i couldn't pass that deal up). All 3 of our LFS says thats its fine to keep him with what we got in our tank. We've had him for about 4 months now, and he's not looseing any color (like i've heard) and seems to really like the company of our coral beauty. LOL
For fish, we have the tang, a coral beauty angel, and 2 OC clown fish.
Im not asking to be a smarty pants, i really dont understand, and would like to know.
Thanks in advance.
Oh, and we are going to upgrade to a 75 gal in March.
Thanks again.
