Question about 120 gal aquarium (48x24x24)

I need to know for purposes of building my stand, how high up does the black rim go around the bottom of the tank. I want to do a lip on the stand that covers the black, and I need to know how high up I need to make the lip.

Hey CS, on my 110 it goes up 1and1/2 inches. I would say that's pretty standar. I would make it about 1and3/4 in. or maybe 2". HTH...

Might I suggest you not get the trim at all. IMO, it just doesn't look good and its really not needed.

Golfish is right but if you can't get it without it, it's about 1 1/2 inches. I'd make the lip 2" just to be safe. JMO
