Question about automatic dosing and vitamins/iodine...

I bought a dosing unit(IV drip box) to help maintain my evaporation and also when I travel out of town.
However, I thought that it would be a good idea to put in my weekly dose of vitamins and iodine. That way, the tank doesn't get them all at once and the skimmer can't remove it as quickly.
What do ya'll think? And, will the vitamins be ok in the DI water for a week at room temperature? Vitamins are usually in the fridge.

Youll get this a lot but dont dose unless u test

you can definatley add your supplements to your top off water...this is exactly what i do...just be sure as j-cal said to test for whatever you add!
