Question about compatibility

Forgive the ignorance, but a panther puffer was sprung on me unexpected, my reasearch is not up to par on this guy. Any chance a cleaner shrimp will be okay with him? And...any other "clean up crew" critters that may survive with this guy? Thanks.

I don't know the panther puffer specifically, however, puffers in general prey upon crustaceans. Therefore your shrimp and clean up crew are probably not safe with this guy. I feel reasonably sure about this, I don't know of an invert friendly puffer and would be surprised if one exists.

how big is the mouth of the grouper to the size of the shrimp. remember that these guys have BIG mouths for their actual size. if the shrimp can even kinda fit inside it's mouth consider the shrimp gone.

I do not own a puffer, but not because I do not want one. I just wanted a setup that would allow some crustaceans and a puffer would not fit into that mix.
The panther puffer is really great looking fish, but unfortunatley, it looks like your shrimps are going to be an expensive snack for this guy.
