Question about glue toxicity.

I need to secure some mesh and acrylic pannels to the top of my aquarium to make it escape proof for my eel but im wondering what to use that won't interfear with my tanks water quality. what is a safe glue or adhesive to use to secure stuff on the top outside of the aquarium. what do most people use??????

yes, the super glue gel that has the word cyano (something or other in it). It kind of sounds like the cyanobacteria. When I last checked at the store there were two diff kinds of super glue, one with the cyano and the other without it.
