Question about HOB turbo Berlin....

I'm gonna purchase a protein skimmer soon but I read somewhere that it's better to use your own pump. I think the HOB Berlin Turbo comes with a Rio 2100 or you can get it without, in which case, I have a Mag 7 that I could use. Is it the Rio 2100 that makes it a "Turbo" skimmer?
Should I buy the skimmer with the pump or without?

I have the same setup with a Rio pump and I love it. It works wonders!
