Question about inverts?

I have a 10 gallon tank and I have 20 lbs. of sand, 10 lbs. of base rock ( getting LR this week ), and it has been up and running for about 3 weeks now. I just added green chromis in it. I was wondering when I should start adding inverts and how many of I should add. Thanks.:)

try 4 scarlet hermits,4 astrea snails,2 nassarius snails and 2 cerith snails. hmm that sounds good to start then add as needed

Chromis are usually a tough cycling fish anyway. My current chromis I have had since the second day I had water in the tank. I dont see a huge problem with it. Now the inverts on the other hand DO NOT add until after the cycle especially not the snails. Hermits are a much more survivable however and may live if you add during a cycle. Be checking the nitrite and nitrate levels, when Nitrite =0 and nitrates get low then your cycle is over.

You know, I stared at the screen for about ten minutes trying to figure out what to say here. There are some posts in this thread that just make me laugh . . . but anyway.
:notsure:
Adding a chromis is fine . . . you are not going to hurt anyting at this point. A chromis is a rather hardy fish that will survive the cycle if it occurs at this point. Granted while I do think that you should have made sure that your tank has fully cycled, I dont feel that you made some grave mistake by adding it.
Add your inverts when you start to notice an algae outbreak. Since most invertebrate animals will not tolerate levels of ammonia, you must make sure that the tank is stable and cycled before you add them. Using a test kit is really the best way to tell.

I am sorry for my previous comments. I probably just took them the wrong way.
