I currently have a 54 gallon corner tank and want to get some more lighting. So i was wondering if a 150w metal halide clamp on light would give me sufficient light to add corals, anemones etc...? I have someone selling a coralife pretty cheap and just want enough light as not to kill anything new off..thanks

yeah, it sounds like enough light, with metal halides you can keep just about anything, how deep is your tank?

Yes, it should be fine. Just keep your SPS twords the tp, softies and LPS twords the middle and bottom.

+1 In retrospect..I wish I had bought the clamp on type pendant.
