Question about water changes

I have had my tank set up for awhile now and I am wondering how long should the tank be set up before I do my first water change?

I recommend regular water changes right from the start. Especially if Ammonia climbs high (over 0.5ppm).
This will keep any live rock or live sand you have healthy.

Has the tank cycled? If it has, you can do a waterchange now.
