question about water contion

my tank has been up and runnin for about a month. my last water check showed i had low calcium and high alk. an anyone tell what affects this can have and how to fix. currently intthe tank is 1 true percula, 1 yellow goby, 3 scarlet crabs,4 small snails and 2 bubble bee snails.

The main thing is not to get carried away and start adding a bunch of supplements. Keep testing your water frequently. I use B-ionic which will help raise your alk or calcium depending on which one you need. B-ionic comes in 2 parts - one bottle raises alk, and the second one is used to raise calcium. Once you get within the right parameters you may want to use kalk to help maintain those levels within the tank. Thats my 2 cents im sure others will help you out as well.

Also, if your calcium gets too low you will start losing all your snails as calcium is important to them
