Question about which fish to add to new tank

Hi All
I have a 55 gallon tank that I newly put up about a week ago. I recently purchased 1 piece of live rock(about 3 pounds) and a yellowtail damsel to help cycle the water.
Im planning on adding more fish in a couple of weeks(as long as my water levels check out)
My question is two fold. What type of fish are best to introduce early and how slowly should new fish be introduced.
End result im planning on a nice mix of live rock and would like to have these fish end result.
Damsel
Clowns(2)
Anenome
Tang
Star fish
Im also looking for suggestions on fish to help clean my sand(just to make it easier on me). Is it recommended to do something like this, for example a couple gobis or a couple snails?
Thanks for any input you can provide!

My question is two fold. What type of fish are best to introduce early and how slowly should new fish be introduced. After you add your first fish, test your water. As a general rule you want to wait two weeks in between fish additions, unless there are issues and your water starts to not test correctly, then you'll need to address that problem first before adding anything else.
End result im planning on a nice mix of live rock and would like to have these fish end result. If you're going to be adding more rock, now that your tank is already cycling, you'll have to add dry base rock or fully cured rock. It would be best for you to add all your rock now while the tank is cycling. Remove the damsel and cycle the tank with a raw cocktail shrimp. You can do a google search for how to cycle with a cocktail shrimp, there are a few different ways to do it, but all have the same basic principle.
Damsel
Clowns(2)
Anenome **Don't add this to your tank until it is at least 6 months old, and make sure you have the proper lighting to support it**
Tang **Your tank is not large enough to support any tang. You might want to look into something like one of the dwarf angelfish as an alternative**

Star fish
Im also looking for suggestions on fish to help clean my sand(just to make it easier on me). Is it recommended to do something like this, for example a couple gobis or a couple snails? Nassarius snails and cerith snails are great sand dwelling snails. Proper flow and not over feeding will help with keeping the sand clean. Every now and then you might need to siphon some detritus (fish poo) off your sand when you do a water change.

Thanks for any input you can provide!
