question?? corals behind rocks

hi everyone i have a question..... today while looking at the back of my tank behind the rocks that stack up to the back of the glass i noticed something....
i see a small metallic green richordia which jumped ship from the larger rock where the rest of them are.... hes on the glass in the corner of the back of the tank.... there is light back there but its not a whole lot obviously.... then i looked harder and i seen one of my xenias back there.... i have a rock with the encrustiing type of xenia's and one was free floating in the bag when i purchased it.... i put it in the tank this was about 10 days ago now and i thought it was dead.... so i also see a xenia behind the rocks thats on the substrate....
my question is can these survive back there behind the rocks or will they die.... there is light back there just not the full 470W....... what do u guys think??

i took some pics kinda hard to see but the shroom is in the direct corner of the tank by the shell the xenia i outlined....

I wouldn't worry about them all tanks get that kind of stuff after a while.

really?? thats cool i guess.... i just found another xenia behind the tank....
but do u think they will survive back there?? so wierd stuff starts growing in random places huh?? ive only started playin with corals like 4-5months ago so its cool that things are spreading.....

I have polyps, zoos and xenia that ended up in the back of my tank on their own, in less light than you have ... they're doing fine and spreading.

They should be able to survive back there. My tank has mushrooms, zoanthids, GSP, and polyps growing EVERYWHERE because of reaquascaping and accidental fragging.

thats really interesting thanks for the comments i didnt know that things could end up behind stuff such as rocks and survive but it seems like lots of u are having the same experience.... well ill let u know what else i find later on :jumping:

Heh heh. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've got zoo and mushroom polyps traveling around the tank all the time. Kinda makes me wonder why I sweat stuff so much when something will survive moving around in the dark. :notsure:

yeah i always worry about stuff having enough light but shoot now i have 3 xenias and a muschroom in the back of my tank if they can survive there then who needs lights anyways lol j/k
