question for a 220

hello
i was wondering if a bamboo shark be able to live in a 220. Would he grow out.
His tank mates would be
EMperor angle
yellow tang
blue hawian puffer
Harlequin Tusk
Blue tang
blue ribbon eel
WOuld that be good for the long term?
I will be using a sump for filtration with protien skimmers, uv sterlizer bio bals a 304 fauval an emporor.

puffers do not mix well with sharks. They tend to pick at their eyes. A 220 would be on the small end of the scale, but should be able to house a bamboo.

A 220 would work for a bamboo for its entire life. However, the fish that you would put in the tank with him, will not. Tangs, angels, and puffers will all nip at the eyes of the shark and would eventually kill it. I have a bamboo, and they are very peaceful fish, but others will attack it. Please don't put one in with these fish.

These are the only types of fish that can coexist with a shark:
Wrasse
Ray
Damsel
Clown
Hawk
Grouper
Anthias
Moray Eels
Squirelfish
Batfish
Cardinal
Disc
Gobies
Jacks
That is all...All other species will pick on the shark

This species of shark consumes crustaceans as its primary diet in the wild. It gets to be around 3' long. It is not an active swimmer, and thus can go in "smaller" tanks. However they are nocturnal and do like to wedge into rockwork...be sure it is secure.
Because this family of sharks is quite sedentary, active fish that are typical grazers/pickers can and most certainly do pick the eyes of these sharks. It won't necessarily kill it (from experience) - they are primarily scent hunters - but it is not pretty to see and makes one feel quite guilty indeed.
