Question for all Seahorse owners

I want to set up a seahorse tank but...
I did a search here on posts about them and there was plenty of info except there wasn't much talk about species of Seahorses.
Well what species are there?
What are easiest to care for as a beginner to seahorses?
What species is most hardy?
What diseases should I look out for?
I am not sure the demensions of the tank but it is a 40 gallon.
Any info is greatly appreciated.
Adam:)

Yeah....they need vertical space. I was thinking of getting one for my tank as well...look really cool

Thank you for your replies and I know of the other web site.
But does anyone know anything about the different species like with one is easier to care for?
Not sure if I can ask this but delete if needed:
Does Seahorse Farms sell tank raised or wild caught sea horses. I know Ocean Rider does but SF is cheaper than OR.
Thanks again.

Seahorse Farms horses are not tank raised. they are all wild caught. Dont buy from them if you can avoid it. Take a look at their shipping policy. they send everything by regular mail, not overnight. they say that their is enough oxygen to last 12 days but I cant believe this is good for the horses. Otherwise other companies would do the same thing. They would have more business because customers wouldnt have to pay so much for shipping.

also, they say that they cant be fed frozen and must be fed live brine only. Do some research on their feeding requirements before you purchase them please! Look on the other board, there is tons of information there. Make sure you research really well. Ill try to find some more information for you.

Thanks BlennyBabe.
I am starting to have second thoughts about doing seahorses.
My father really likes the idea of a Narragansett Bay Tank. We would collect things from Narragansett Bay. My biology teacher did this and it is very interesting.
