Question for Bang Guy

Bang,
I see that Kent makes an electrical kit. I think I'd trust that one a little more. Have you ever had a problem with yours? Ever seen the electrical model or know how might carry it?

I've seen the electric circuit kit. I don't know which would be better. My RO storage tank is in the basement so I'm not as concerned about a failure as most people. I am more concerned about an open electrical circuit.

Do you do auto top off too or just use the tank in the basement for RO water? I am ideally trying to go from my RO/DI unit to a freshwater reservoir to a kalk reactor to the tank. Some of my concerns are the heights and distances as I would put my reservoir in the basement also. How many feet below/away from your RO unit is your valve? My next problem is some sort of dosing pump/system and having it strong enough to go across my basement and up to the first floor again.

I have my valve shutting off the input to the RO filter. The RO fills a container with the float valve. The water level in the container is the same level as my Limewater reactor, the sump water level, and the water level in my reserve salt water container. Water siphons to both the Saltwater reserve and the reactor. As the water in the system exaporates it's automatically topped off with limewater. When I do water changes the saltwater reservoir is automatically filled with fresh water, I just have to add salt mix.
When the holding tank fills with RO water it trips the float valve and closed the output from the RO. This builds pressure in the RO line which causes the pressure sensitive valve to shut off the input from the tap.

Limewater goes to the sump. The Lagoon is actually slightly higher than the sump. But yes, no great distance and everything is at the same level.

I'm thinking of two possible solutions.
Run a line from the RO/DI unit to a container in the basement, manually fill it and...
1. Mix the limewater. Then add a dosing pump up to the tank.
2. Mix my own 2 part supplements and keep large supplies and keep refilling half gallon containers that I keep under the tank and dose manually every night.
