I saw a pic of your 38 gallon setup and love how you have your rocks setup!
How did you get all the caves in the bottom of the rockwork without everything toppling over? It looks like you have quite a balancing act there.

sorry, i just saw this post. if i didn't browse i wouldn't have seen it. back to your question, it took a long time to get it right and the right pieces of rocks. i took the bigger rocks and stand them str8 up or sometime leaning towards each other. the key is deeper sand. and just stack and stack. often you need different smaller rocks to form right. i just go to the lfs and find what i am looking for (smaller pieces)
