Question for the guys - Video Games?

My hubby is an over the road truck driver and I am looking to get him a hand held video game system for Christmas to play during his down time. He's only into playing sports games (mainly hockey) if that makes any difference.
He had a regular Xbox at home, but I think he wore it out because it hasn't worked in awhile. I know nothing about the hand held versions, so what would you all recommend?

Ooooooh.........Tetris! I LOVED TETRIS!! Haven't even thought about it in years, but might just have to put that one on my Christmas list. lol
I've been snooping around online and I do think I will go with the PSP. First of all it looks cool, which is all it takes to win me over (I'm a marketer's dream, lol), and I like the size of the screen. Battery life isn't really important because he will only be playing it in his truck so he can keep it plugged in. We just have to go hand-held because he has no room in there for a TV and a regular system.
Ok, so now what are some favorite games?

PSP is the way to go. Great screen size, amazing graphics, and you can put movies and music on there too. You might want to look into some memory cards also.

Ok, I've decided on the PSP. Already ordered a game! Thanks guys!
What purpose do the memory cards serve? I'm assuming to save things such as seasons for sports games and things like that. Just trying to decide what size I need.

i have a psp (play station portable) it plays movies and games. I love it and use it extensively when i travel. I love to play online, wifi which is built into the system, while sitting at the airport. also you can use the internet to check mail and news (again with wifi) so with that said I think the PSP is the clear choice. i would also suggest if your gonna get the PSP get a memory upgrade so he can store music and game data.

Not a guy, but I'd get the playstation portable. Movies and games right in the palm of your hand. They are pricey, though....compared to that gameboy. :hilarious

on a serious note i was at gamestop today and the worker said that sony was going to stop making movies for the psp because sony spent so much money on producing the ps3 so maybe you should look into getting a few movies now before their gone
im going to get a few myself

sony wont stop making movies for the psp trust me yeah there losing money by making the ps3 but they are making it up by selling the games for 60 bucks a pop when it really only cost about 1.27 to make and all those accessories thats how sony is making their money.

What makes you think that 50% of the population's opinions are not legitimate? Just because you don't have the answer doesn't mean that there aren't females out there that know about sports and videogames and as a female I would think you would have more respect for your own --- than that.
