question for the pros

I bought a acrylic tank that has been laying around in a garage for a-while and looks dirty. I want to make a reef tank out of it.What do you suggest to use to clean the inside,Something strong enough to get it good and clean but won't harm the reef or the fish???? Thanks in advance.

vinegar, water, a nice soft cloth or soft sponge. Try to keep from scratching it.

Any certain ratio of water to vinegar.and is white distilled vinegar ok to use????

about 25% vinegar 75% water solution should do a good job. If it has coralline on it you may have to let it soak for a while.
