Question on a massive skimmer (group buy) Lifereef vs3-36

Hey, I'm looking at buying some guys setup, and he has a massive skimmer included, I think it is a lifereef vs3-36 skimmer. I already have a skimmer and don't have 36 inches of clearance. Would anyone be interested in this skimmer if I buy his setup? The skimmer is listed at 450 without a pump. I'm pretty sure I could swing something with an external pump.

Depends on how much I can talk him down, I'd imagine 325 with a pump 275 without. I asked him to check on the exact model of the skimmer, so it really depends on that too.

Just a bump for you. LifeReef makes an excellent skimmer. I am using a vs-3-48 on my 300 gallon tank.

hey well I figured it out and it was an old vs2-36 that he used to make, I ended up finding something significantly cheaper and a little more appropriate for my tank, so I told him I'd pass. I'm going to end up getting an svs2-24 and that cs1 sump to go with it. Should be fun. If it makes it here from NY.
