if your purpus is to breed fish and just breed then i will answer your questions that you have asked and then alittle more
ok get your breeding tank set up, for clowns i reccomend a 20 gallon TALL as they breed better in deeper tanks than shallow tanks
put some ceramic tiles in there, 3 of them to form a triangle, the fish are likly to lay their eggs on the bottom tile, paint the bottom, and 3 sides a dark color ON THE OUT SIDE of the tank, do not put a anemone, or any rock work and the tank shoul dbe in a area that dosent get alot of visitors
when your fish lay eggs wait for the eggs to turn a greyish color and then remove the tile with the eggs on it to the hacthing tank which should not have any filter on it, just a heater, a flourestant lighting and a RIGID AIR LINE that is placed under the eggs so when the bubbles pass by the eggs they wiggle them. DO NOT DISTURB THE MATEING PAIR replace the tile you took with a new tile and they will relay again very shortly after 2-5days
feeding the fry, your going to need rotifers, the best way is to grow your own but then you have to feed them phytoplanton which you also grow, i would recommend buing live rotifers from here and save all that other stuff for every one else, but alot of people prefer to grow their own at all times
never take the clowns out of their tank, just the eggs, leave the clowns alown as much as possibul as a board fish is a breeding fish
and yes there is a long thread on breeding clowns here but when i read it i didnt understand it fully eaither i hope this helped alittle and i know its alot to take in to learn but just ask more questions and ill try to keep up with them
