Question on LR

I have 125 pounds of LR in a 75g tank and only one fish. and today i saw a little white cotton looking ball on a couple of my rocks anybody have any idea about what it could be.

How big is the cotton ball shaped object?
A common hitchhiker which fits your description is the Q-tip sponge which looks like its namesake but has a few hairs circling around an opening at the top.

its probably about twice the size of the tip of a Q tip are they bad, should I take it out or is it OK

You should probably do a search on "Q-tip sponge" just to make sure, but I believe they're harmless.
