I have a friend that has a 55 gallon tank, just set up for a little over a month.Anyway she has bought a damsel ck of some sort..I haven't seen it myself but I know it is Black and white. The new Pet store in town sold it to her and said a good starter fish witch I agree except for I have heard they are a bit fin nippy or aggressive to other fish. She wants to put a few fish in her tank this week and would like to have a Yellow tang and maybe a sebae clown fish..Do you think that she will be OK introducing these fish together? Please help..Thank You all.

They would be ok, they are all semi-aggressive or aggressive fish. The tang might not be ok for the long run. The yellow tang should be ok untill it gets to be around 4-5 inches long. After it reaches 4" it should really go in a bigger tank (75-90 gallons).

Yellow tangs can be a bit aggressive. I've been told to add it as a last fish in the tank. I wish I had. Now I can't add any other tangs due to the yellow tang already being in there.

I wouldn't put a tang in a 55g even if it is only temporarily....Do you have any idea how hard it is to catch a fish?

yea damsels suck. every one ive ever had was alittle bully. id ditcht the damsel IMO.
and yea, 55 is tight for a yellow tang. maybe for alittle while, then it will outgrow that tank. and if so, ive also read they should be one of the last fish added.
