I have a 55 gallon tank w 55 ilbs of lr and 2 inches of sand... It has cycled for 7 months and currently has 2 clowns and 2 damselfish... I was wondering if anyone knew any good additions I could add- this is what I was thinking
Flame angel- how harty?
Madrian- how hardy?
copperband butterfly- how hearty?
A cleanup package- JHow would it do with regular lighting?? Shrimp hardy??

with a mandarin, you should haev some sort of place for the pods to regenerate unharmed, like a refugium, because one mandarin could wipe out the entire pod population

Flame angels are gorgeous and fairly hardy and would do well in your sized tank. If you have a reef tank, there is a possibility that it will nip at corals... kind of a hit or miss thing.
For a mandarin, it is recommended that you have at least 100 lbs of live rock in order to sustain an adequate pod population... since pods are usually all they eat. I wouldn't put one in your tank unless you add more rock.
The copperbanded butterfly is a very sensitive fish. Also, it can grow up to 8 inches, so your tank is a bit small for one of these.
As for a clean up package, I would go for a mixture of crabs and snails (scarlet leg hermits, astrea snails, nassarius snails, and maybe a fighting conch). Also, a scarlet cleaner shrimp would be a good addition. They have a lot of personality and they will clean parasites off your fish.
Some other possibilities to consider:
- Green Chromis
- Bangaii cardinal
- Firefish
