I have had a meat coral in my tank for a few weeks and its been doing just fine, about three days ago it...shrank dramatically (which it did at night, but would always puff back up in the morning) and it hasn't come back out since. I've tried to feed it once but it doesn't seem to go for the food (or it ate it so fast I didn't see)

Now:

I checked everything and its all at zero/normal.
Any suggestions on whats going on? Is it dying? :(
Second question...I have alot of this...green algae growing on my sand, I pulled a small piece about 2 inches long off of one of my corals and just kind of droped it....and it grew, and grew and grew...now its like this:

Is there anything I can do with this stuff?
Any help is appreciated :)

I would do a few large water changes and start feeding it krill. Mine looked like yours last summer due to neglect from boating season. A few large changes and some forced feedings and he was back in no time.
