Sometimes grains of sand get stuck to fish and it looks a lot like ich. This has happened to me before. Also, I have heard of fish (hardy ones) that can sometimes "beat" ick. In other words, live with it. All of the signs are gone but that doesn't mean the fish doesn't have it. That is just what I have heard. I have never experienced this first hand.

it was just weird b/c the tomato clown was very noticable looked like 20 white dots on a 2-3 inch fish and it was acting really weird i was sure it was going to die and then when i woke up he looks perfectly normal is swimming around, ate, came to the glass when i looked in..... i don't know it seems weird but is ick a cycling disease/parasite like one day its their the next it is not then it comes back? :notsure:

They could have come off and are now in the entire water column. I'm not an expert so search the "disease" thread on the subject. Hope it works out for ya.

socalracer if you do not want to ever flush a fish
then invest in a qt tankcause flushing a fish that is still alive is no good.
